The Almanzora region of Spain, is remarkably easy to reach from any part of Ireland. Flight times are approximately 21/2 hours.
The regional Spanish airports of Murcia, Alicante and Almeria are all within 2hrs drive of Desert Springs, Villaricos and Playa Marques, and are served by airlines flying from several Irish cities.
Almeria, the closest airport is an easy 40 minute drive along the E15. This motorway is a new and virtually empty section of the Autopista de la Mediterrania, skirting the the Cabo de Gata National Park and the majestic Cabrera Mountains.
Considerable investment in the area by the EU, the State, and the Autonomous Community of Andalucia has created an excellent modern road transport system. See a detailed road map
